Preach the Bible Boldly

If you’re like me you are probably not big on the whole “stand on the corner with a Bible and yell at people” kind of evangelism (although I do know at least one person who got saved from that – and he wasn’t even talking with Kirk Cameron or Roy Comfort!).   However, as Christians we should never avoid preaching the word of Scripture to others.

As as preachers and teachers, it is absolutely necessary that we read the word of God and preach it clearly and with courage.  Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”  If we wish others to share in our faith, than we must share with them the Bible and believe that it “is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword,” performing the task of “piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Heb 4:12)
